School Outreach Programmes
We reached out to two government schools to raise awareness on health, moral values, and environmental care. Along with the sessions, essential items were shared for students’ wellbeing and hygiene.
- Sports equipment, notebooks, tiffin boxes, water bottles
- Sanitation support: dustbins, sanitary pads, Harpic, Dettol, and more

Support to Rehabilitation Centres
We distributed fruit plant saplings and vegetable seeds—encouraging self‑sufficiency, nutrition, and sustainable living practices.
- Promotion of kitchen gardening and greener campuses
- Focus on long‑term, self‑sustained nutrition
Assistance to Child Care Centres
We donated daily ration items such as rice, dal, chana, and kids’ breakfast cereals. Dustbins were also provided to support cleaner, healthier environments.

World Water Day Awareness
An awareness programme at Don Bosco College, Itanagar, highlighting the importance of water conservation and sustainable usage.

Voluntary Blood Donation Camp – 01
A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized on 30th April 2025 at Rajiv Gandhi University under the theme “Donate Blood, Save Lives.”
- Organized by Green Bees Club (Dept. of Sociology, RGU)
- In collaboration with TRIHMS Naharlagun, NSS-RGU & ASF
- 65 donors participated (18 female, 47 male)
- Faculty members actively donated blood, inspiring students
Quiz Competition on Tribal Freedom Fighters
Under Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas – 2025, a quiz competition was organized to raise awareness about the life, struggles, and contributions of tribal freedom fighters of Arunachal Pradesh and India.

Taba Asha Nyelam
Chairperson
A graduate of JNV Yachuli, Higher Secondary School Itanagar, and DNGC Itanagar. She enjoys meeting people, engaging in group activities, and taking part in plantation drives. Known for her love of organized surroundings, she believes in creating clean and positive spaces. Helpful by nature, she is always ready to support others, contribute to community work, and be part of meaningful initiatives.
Miss Neelam Rupa
Director
Ms. Neelam Rupa, a Gold Medalist in Sociology, is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Rajiv Gandhi University while serving as a Teaching Assistant in the same department. A Governor’s Award recipient for her academic excellence, she has also worked with several renowned NGOs in the state. She actively contributes to environmental protection, promoting clean and healthy environments, afforestation initiatives, women empowerment, substance-abuse awareness, and child rights. As a committed child rights advocate, she strives to foster awareness, equity, and meaningful social change.
Miss Likha Rema
Treasurer
An enthusiastic educator with an academic background in Zoology and Education, dedicated to imparting knowledge and reaching the unreached. A true nature lover who believes in planting more trees, protecting biodiversity, and keeping the environment clean and pollution-free. Passionate about creating positive learning spaces, inspiring young minds, and contributing meaningfully to the community through small yet impactful actions.
Miss Maga Neru
Programme Manager
She is a sociologist in training and an active contributor to academic and community initiatives. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Don Bosco College and a master’s in Sociology from RGU, where she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. and serving as a Teaching Assistant. Passionate about football, social work, and environmental conservation, she is associated with the Magic Club Arunachal and also serves as the Assistant IPR of RGURSF.
Dr. Bilin Maying
Research Officer
He is an agriculturist and an enthusiast in environmental protection, holding a Doctorate in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, Pundibari, Coochbehar, West Bengal. He continuously strives to be a better human, guided by values of sustainability and kindness. Passionate about nurturing both the land and the community, he believes in conservation, responsible growth, and creating a positive impact through knowledge, action, and mindful living.
Dr. Seema Bengia
Research Officer
Dr. Seema Bengia is a researcher with a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Rajiv Gandhi University. She specializes in medical sociology, public health, TB, and substance abuse, and is currently serving as a Guest Faculty at RGU. Passionate about community well-being, she explores the connections between health and society. She enjoys cooking, travelling, writing, social work, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
Mr. Mun Basumatary
Media Manager
He crafts clear, compelling messages that move people. He shapes stories, strengthens communication, and creates content that inspires, connects, and leaves a lasting impact. He believes in the power of words to transform perspectives and build meaningful relationships. With every piece he writes, he aims to bring clarity, spark emotion, and offer something that stays with the reader long after the message ends.
Mr. Jumtum Minga
Resource Manager
He is a development professional with qualifications in Mass Communication, Rural Development, and Computer Applications. He has worked as a reporter, state coordinator, paralegal volunteer, and project assistant, contributing to child protection, legal awareness, and community outreach. A former member of the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights, he remains committed to creating positive social impact.
Miss Marjum Basar
Programme Manager
She completed her B.Com from Donyi Polo Government College, Kamki and her M.Com from Rajiv Gandhi University. With a love for learning and community service, she enjoys reading, writing, gardening, counselling, and volunteering for social causes, especially waste management. Passionate and empathetic, she strives to contribute to meaningful initiatives that promote awareness, responsibility, and positive change.
Mr. Takar Sonam
Media Manager
He holds a Diploma in Aviation, Tourism & Management and an O-Level certification from NIELIT, with skills in IT tools, networking, web design, and publishing. Currently expanding his expertise in Python Programming and IoT, he is a creative and tech-driven individual with a strong passion for art, designing, and networking, constantly blending creativity with technology as he grows and builds a meaningful future.
